I know I probably sound like a huge baby for complaining about the cold but man oh man how is it already in the 30's?
Seriously, how?
I think my mother might be rolling her eyes at my complaints considering I hail from Colorado where it has already snowed quite a bit this season thus far.
One of my favaaahrite things to gobble up during the cold months while occupying a warm seat next to a fire after a day of snow boarding is spiked apple cider. It's the easiest flippin recipe for a delightful treat. Swear. You'll be feeling fuzzy in know time.
Don't make fun that I'm already sipping on this without having even pulled the board out of storage.

Heat 1 Cup of Apple Cider either in the microwave or on the stove. You can totally use the packet stuff if you fancy. No judging here.
Add 1/4 c Peach Schnapps
Drizzle 1/4 tsp of caramel sauce and stir. I use Trader Jacques Fleur de sel Caramel Sauce. Run out a get it. Thank me later.

Garnish with a cinnamon stick, orange peel (optional), and a dash of clove.
Viola!

If you want it creamy, a dollop of whipped cream never hurt anyone.
You'll have toasted bones in no time!
Ciao you little snow bunnies you!
